Programme overview

Most reporting starts in Excel. This programme helps participants do it properly: structured tables, clean data, the right formulas and a complete dashboard template with formulas and charts already built in.

The day finishes by making the report easy to maintain: repeatable clean-up with Power Query, protected formulas and a simple routine for next month’s update, so the report keeps working long after the training.

What your team will learn

  • Structure raw data as Excel tables that are easy to clean, analyse and refresh.
  • Analyse data with XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IFS and dynamic arrays such as FILTER and UNIQUE.
  • Build a ready-to-use dashboard template with formulas, PivotTables, charts and slicers.
  • Automate the monthly update with Power Query and protect the report for sharing.

Hariz has 8+ years in the energy, utilities and engineering sectors and leads Power BI work for operations and maintenance at a multinational oil and gas operator. He is Microsoft PL-300 certified, an HRD Corp accredited trainer and a Professional Technologist (Ts.), and has trained more than 3,000 learners since 2024.

Trainers are assigned per programme. Not every trainer attends every session.
